A docker-compose.yml for your own server, written in this browser tab.

Make a docker-compose.yml

Describe your server and download the file. It is written in this browser tab: nothing you type here is sent anywhere, passwords included.

Your files

An absolute path (/mnt/user/files, C:\Users\you\Workshop) or one beside the file (./Workshop). Uploads land in it and deletions move to a .trash/ inside it, so not Downloads.

Who the app runs as

Linux only. Empty, the app runs as the owner of your folder (99 and 100 on an Unraid share), and Docker Desktop on a Mac or Windows needs nothing. Set them when the folder is owned by root: id -u and id -g print yours. A network share's files belong to this user too.

The app

The port on this machine the app answers on, and the app image's tag: latest is the newest release.

A box generator and an OpenSCAD editor that save into your library: three more containers, published for amd64 only, which an Apple-silicon Mac runs under emulation. Without them the app runs on its own.

Mail and HTTPS (optional)

Without mail, the first account you create is the owner and an admin adds others under Settings, Users. Mail sends only account confirmation and password reset.

Without TLS in front of the app this locks you out.

The name or address people reach this server at, with no https://. Links in mail point here.

Leave it empty for a relay that needs no sign-in.

docker-compose.yml

Save it in the folder it names, run docker compose up -d there and open the address in its first lines. The first account you create is the owner. The install guide explains every setting.
